QUICK AND HEALTHY DESSERTS

It’s INTERNATIONAL NO DIET DAY!

So to celebrate, why not enjoy that treat after dinner tonight.

But just because we aren’t dieting, doesn’t mean our dessert can’t still be healthy.

Here’s a list of my favourite quick, easy and super healthy desserts that won’t leave you feeling guilty.

RICOTTA AND CINNAMON
It’s as simple as the name suggests. A small bowl of thick reduced fat ricotta cheese from the deli section of your supermarket with a sprinkle of cinnamon, nutmeg or even coconut sugar!

APPLE PIE
Make your own guilt-free apple pie with sliced up fresh apples, traditional rolled oats, Chobani Fat Free Plain yoghurt and a drizzle of honey.
Go one step further and lightly poach the apple in a bowl of hot water in the microwave for 1 minute, then drain.
Works great with pears too, which are in season now!

SPICED GRANNY SMITHS
Slice up a granny smith apple and sprinkle cinnamon on top.

BANANA & NUT BUTTER
A banana with natural nut butter for a healthy serve of fats every now and then is so yummy. In this picture I used natural almond and chia spread.

FRESH FIGS WITH A SCOOP OF VANILLA YOGHURT
For a sweet treat cut up some fresh figs and enjoy with low fat vanilla bean yoghurt.
You’re best to enjoy this dessert now as figs are nearly out of season!

NEED SOMETHING WARM?
There’s nothing better than a flavoured tea at the end of the night to warm your insides up. Right now I am loving the chocolate truffle flavoured rooibos tea from Adore Tea. It’s not a black tea blend so won’t keep you up all night!

Enjoy!
